Description of Practice

An experienced mediator, coach and trainer, Sherry Bruckner helps people engage in civil and constructive conversations in a variety of civil and family matters. Trained in restorative circles and restorative conferencing, she helps bring together families and organizations in a safe, confidential setting. Sherry enjoys teaching conflict resolution, communication, empathy, de-escalation, and peace building skills to businesses and organizations, including law enforcement, leadership teams, and human resources professionals. Professional Background

A graduate of Hamline University CLA and William Mitchell College of Law, Sherry serves on the Minnesota Supreme Rule 114 List of Qualified Neutrals. Practicing as a civil and family lawyer for nearly twenty years, she recognizes the time, money, and emotional costs exhausted in litigation. Sherry has served as an adjunct law professor, a diversity and inclusion trainer and studied conflict resolution at Hebrew University's Rothberg International School in Jerusalem. Clients also benefit from her certification through the Brave Thinking Institute as a Transformational Coach and Life Mastery Consultant.


Sherry began serving as a mediator in 1998.


Sherry earned a Bachelor of Arts from Hamline University and a Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law, and serves on the Minnesota Supreme Rule 114 List of Qualified Neutrals. She also attained certification as a Transformational Life Coach and Life Mastery Consultant through the Brave Thinking Institute. She maintains the most important degrees come through life experience.

Mediation fees range from $350 to $500 per hour. Restorative circling and conferencing fees range from $500 to $800 per hour. Speaking and training fees vary depending on length, attendance, and location.
