Because of his unique training and extensive experience, Michael Jonsson takes a practical and procedural approach towards family mediation. His approach is to assess and recognize each client's strengths and weaknesses, and then adjust his mediation process in light of that assessment to create a fair and healthy negotiating environment. His ultimate goal: a fair and reasonable agreement that both clients can support, and which they can obtain at a reasonable price and in a reasonable amount of time.
As of 8/1/18, my hourly rate for mediation services is $400, with an initial deposit of $3,000 (which covers the first session fees), and a $1,500 deposit thereafter to be maintained at all times.
