Professional Background

Torrey Zimmerman is a qualified neutral for both civil and family matters under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice, and the founder of Zimmerman Steel & Gray. His resume includes work in the service industry, manufacturing, criminal justice, advertising and corporate communications, both lay ministry and vocational pastoral ministry, and in civil mediation. Each of these contributes to his depth of understanding and informs his ability to ask the right questions, decode complex conflict environments, and to meet clients of any size or type precisely at their point of need.

Torrey has been mediating civil, non-family cases since 2009, and has also conducted many group facilitation events, countless pastoral counseling and programming sessions, conflict coaching for non-profits, and change-management efforts for corporate and non-profit organizations. He also provides Optics Management and Crisis Communication Consulting for business and other organizations.
