Description of Practice

I facilitate and re-open the lines of communication and understanding to resolve conflict. I am a Mediator/Arbitrator/Attorney with a comprehensive understanding of interpersonal dynamics to facilitate successful negotiation and settlement. Drawn from a diverse career history and extensive specialized training, I help parties reach sound decisions and overcome barriers to resolution through facilitated discussions that focus on parties’ interests and priorities. I don’t force all that touchy feely stuff down your throat. You can feel free to express yourself as the real you. Seasoned Mediator/Arbitrator with a keen business acumen and clarity possessing a solid track record of wisdom, peace-making, trustworthiness, and neutrality. Expert in Investigations, Conflict Resolution, Creating Final Binding Agreements and Repairing Relationships – High Rate of Success! Even though issues are serious matters, people who have their cases mediated and/or arbitrated before me are able to resolve cases in a much friendlier but professional environment while saving time, money, stress, and privacy! Skilled in a variety of mediation techniques. Areas I mediate/arbitrate are: Real Estate • Business • Employment • Healthcare • International.

Professional Background

License California attorney for over 16 years. Mediation trained in Facilitative, Evaluative and Transformative methods.

Experience

Degrees

Mediation training at Pepperdine Strauss Institute for ADR and Conflict Solutions Center. Juris doctorate from Santa Barbara College of Law. MBA - University of Victoria, British Columbia

Approach

Depending on the type of case and the parties involved often determines the styles used. Each dispute is unique and deserves special care. Parties are guided to creating a final binding agreement.
