Jeff Husserl’s mediation services expedite the resolution of Workplace, Employee, and Family Business issues.

Jeff has served for over twenty five years as a corporate senior leader, business consultant and mediator. As Executive Vice President of Administration with an $8B publicly traded bank, he held executive roles in human resources, marketing, property management, compliance and legal.

Jeff is currently the Managing Principal of CoralBridge Partners, a boutique consulting firm that champions organizational health and helps people in the workplace manage conflict more constructively. He also serves a a pro bono mediator with the Los Angeles and San Diego offices of the EEOC.

Leveraging his extensive experience in Human Resources and Employee Relations as well as his background with the EEOC, Jeff focuses his practice on Workplace and Employment Mediation.

Professional Background

Jeff served as a Human Resources leader and corporate executive in the Chicago area for 25 years. He received an MBA in Marketing and Human Resources Management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University as well as a Masters Degree in Dispute Resolution (MDR) from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Law School. He also received a 40 hour certification as a mediator from the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago. He focuses his mediation practice on workplace and employment disputes and currently provides pro bono mediation services for the Los Angeles and San Diego offices of the EEOC.

Approach

While conflict is a reality in every workplace, it can be managed more constructively so that disputes are resolved through early intervention. I utilize a facilitative approach to mediation to resolve these disputes before they escalate and become costly in terms of lost productivity or outside legal expenses. As a former Human Resources executive, I also understand the delicate balance between business needs and employee advocacy. I help both parties understand the risks and opportunities associated with the case. While my style is facilitative, I can comfortably shift to a more evaluative mode if the circumstances dictate.

Fees

Fees are negotiable based on either a 1/2 day or full day rate and include all pre mediation conferences and document review.
