Description of Practice

Tammy Gosling has served as a mediator, in and out of the NH court system, since 1993. Tammy is a Certified Family Mediator. She is trained in Family Mediation, Civil Dispute Mediation, Parent/Child Mediation and Elder/Adult Family Mediation. In addition to offering mediation services Tammy is also a practicing attorney in the areas of Family Law and Probate Law.

Approach

Mediation is a process in which all parties are treated impartially, fairly and with respect for their wishes in mediation. Each participant is given time and attention in expressing their needs. Mediation is founded on consensus building, communication and mutual respect.

Fees

Tammy's hourly rate for mediation is $150.00 per hour including drafting time. Travel within one hour from Manchester is included. Travel for time exceeding one hour is billed at $25.00 per hour and .54 per mile. Partis are encouraged to schedule sessions which are at a minimum, two hours long.

Other Information

Mediation works. It is far less costly than proceeding before the court and most importantly it is a deliberate process in which relationships are a priority. Mediation allows for preservation of relationships while reaching consensus on family issues.
