Description of Practice
The Supreme Court of Nevada has five time appointed Malcolm Doctors to the Foreclosure Mediation Program. He has also been appointed by the Nevada Supreme Court to the oversight committee of the FMP. For the past decade plus, he has been a Certified Senior Mediator. Holding executive positions in National and Multi National business organizations have given him a unique perspective in all aspects of business disputes. In addition, he has negotiated real estate, foreclosure, labor and management issues, workplace disputes, as well as custody and divorce. The objective of this practice is to give companies and individuals a cost effect way of settling disputes, in a casual, but businesslike setting, without the very expensive price tag and trappings of a formal court. Mediation is a very viable alternative to litigation. My sole objective is to bring the disputing parties together for a satisfactory resolution, thereby avoiding a very expensive legal case. I am not an advocate for either party. My concern is that the parties reach a workable agreement, and the process retains its integrity.
Average fees are $150.00 an hour including travel time, if mediation is not conducted in my office.
